- Kevin McFadyen Added 2017-10-20★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Lovely ambiance and a great location by the rapids just outside the Algonquin park. It has friendly staff too and hostel rooms for rent. Unfortunately, the meals just weren't great. Had the rainbow trout and venison stew. Both were alright but I felt I could have better dining at home. Certainly I've had better fare in the area. It's fine as a rest stop coming out of the park if you need to eat but I wouldn't direct anyone to it.
